Orders

Delivery

I chose manual payment at checkout. How does this work?

Once we have made up your order we will send you an email with a link to make a secure online payment. Just follow the link to complete your purchase.

Note that the payment email may take up to 2 working days to reach you from your delivery day. 

No need to worry about your order and delivery, as long as you have had you order confirmation, we will be working on getting your produce to you.

Has my order been received?

You will see a confirmation of your order after checkout and receive an email to the address you provided. These communications provide your order number. Keep it.

Didn't get an email? You may have incorrectly typed your address or it may have found its way into your junk folder. Please check junk/spam.

As long as you have got an order number, we are working on it.

I can't see the item I want

How do I request a preferred Delivery Date?

Simply click on the delivery symbol on the online store page, or search for delivery in the search bar.

Add your preferred delivery item the same as with any other product to your cart.

We also prompt you at checkout.

For deliveries on a Thursday there is a drop down bar to choose Portishead or for other towns/villages.

Can I collect my order?

What if I forget to add a preferred delivery date item?

Don't worry! We will allocate you the next available slot automatically.

We deliver to Portishead on Wednesday to Friday. Any deliveries for the outskirts of Portishead will be completed on a Thursday.

Our van leaves the shop at 4pm and the routes take between 3 & 4 hours.

When will my order be delivered?

What if I'm not home for my delivery?

The driver will try calling first if there is no answer. If there is no response then he will send a message where he has left the order.

If you are well (Covid-19 precautions, and just general advice!) then feel free to visit us in our High Street shop Tuesday-Saturday 9am-4pm. The shop is well stocked and for this reason we do not take online orders for collection. 

Just pop in and we can serve you there and then.

As of April 2020, due to such high demand (Covid-19 social restrictions) we've had to reduce the number of items to fulfil as many orders as we can. We will be adding more items as we develop this online service.

Please bear with us, we are a small independent Butcher Shop trying to service a large community as best we can. Thanks in advance.
